About
Built around the part
everyone leaves until last.
Vectorhelm is trading automation with the risk engine in front of the order rather than in the reporting. Most systems are built the other way around, and the difference only becomes visible on the day it matters.
Why this exists
Almost every system adds risk management last.
The strategy is the interesting part, so it gets built first — and the limits end up checked after the order has gone, or once when a route starts and never again.
Those systems work until the day they don’t.
Correlated positions that each pass their own limit and together breach the account. A stop that lived in the strategy rather than at the venue, and vanished with the connection.
We built it the other way around.
The risk engine exists first and the strategy runs behind it. An order that would breach a limit you set is refused, and the refusal is written down so you can see what happened.
Manual orders pass the same checks as automated ones. A second book with different rules is not a control.
We are pre-launch and say so on every page. There is no product to buy today, no user count to quote and no testimonials — inventing any of those in a finance category is a trust problem that surfaces later, and it is not worth what it buys.
What we hold to
Four commitments that constrain the roadmap.
Decisions we have already made and do not intend to revisit, written down so they can be held against us.
- Never gated
Risk controls are not a feature tier
Daily loss caps, drawdown ceilings and overtrading guards are on every plan, including the trial. Charging more for the limits that stop an account being destroyed would be indefensible.
- Pre-trade
Enforcement happens before the order
A limit checked after an order is sent is a report, not a control. Every rule is evaluated in front of the order, and a breach is refused rather than logged.
- No black box
You can read what it will do
Strategies are plain conditions you can audit line by line. Nothing compiles into a shape you cannot inspect, because you cannot trust what you cannot read.
- Non-custodial
We never hold funds
Your money stays in the account you already hold. Connections use trade-scope keys, and your funds never move through us.
